Dear Kitty,

Im up late right now like you were many nights. (2:55 am in NYC) I miss our late night conversations. I knew If I ever needed someone to talk to late at night, you would be there for me to lend an ear and give me unconditional love and advice.

I just listened to your speech at the 2003 KPI Symposium. It did two things to me, Put a smile on my face and made me cry. It was so nice to hear your voice again!

Kitty your are one of the most amazing women I've ever known. You have touched and helped so many people in life including myself.

I love you and Miss you dearly!

Your Granddaughter,

Yasmine Nasim Petty

Very nice sentiments Yasmine. A day doesn't go by that I don't think of Kitty. She was truly a lovely lady, that cared a lot for other people. She will be missed by many, I am sure.

Hello Clint –

I worked with your mom years ago and served under her, working as the adult support group director in 1989 to 91. She sure helped a lot of people. I have passed this list to nearly 100 people and potentially many thousands. I have shortened the link and made it easy to remember. Feel free to publish this and use it yourself:

I was wondering if you could tell me how she determined all these people had ADD? If she got some of a list of other sources, can you refer me to them so I can get validation? If she determined that these people had ADD herself, what criterion did she use? I have just passed this information on so many times that it’s gotten to the point that I need to find a way to validate this information. I would appreciate your getting back to me on this. Feel free to call me or send an email. Thank you!

Hi Yasmine,

My name is Stacia. It's been a long time but I wanted to reach out to you after reading this beautiful heartfelt post you made. Some time has passed but I thought I'd try anyway.

I worked at the Kitty Petty ADD Institute in the mid-90s on Middlefield Rd. I was 18 years old at the time. I don't know if you remember me. No worries if not. I was so grateful to your grandmother Kitty. She was so kind and supportive. I was so grateful for the Institute as well and what it stood for-a beacon of support and help for those in need that struggled with ADD like I had. I was thinking about the Institute and your grandmother so I looked her up online wondering if the Institute was still open. I discovered that she passed away in 2005 and I am so sorry for your loss. The memorial statement stated that she had a Son, Clint Petty, your dad and you and that you lived in New York City. So I looked you up and discovered that you are a successful model now. I'm so happy for you! Congratulations on your career and success. I know that your grandmother would be so proud of you. I remember her loving you very much. After leaving and not working at the Institute, I ran into you a few years later and you were working at Wet Seal at Valco Shopping Center. Do you remember? Like I said, no worries if not.

Anyway, I wish you well and am so happy for you.

Best wishes.
Love, Stacia
